The recruitment process
Stage 1: Show Interest
Even if you have been referred by a current SCLC teacher or team member, you will still need to submit your resume, so we are able to get a clear idea of your experience. This also shows intent and interest on your part to continue with the recruitment process.
Stage 2: Interview
Once we have your resume on file. If there is a need for your position, and we determine you to be a good fit, someone will reach out to you from our office to set up an interview either in-person or remotely via GoTo Meeting. If the interview is remote, please be prepared to have your camera on so you and interviewer are able to chat “face-to-face”. It is also important to be in a quiet space. While we use this time to determine if you would be a good fit for our company, please also be qualifying our company to make sure we are a good fit for you. Come with questions to gain any clarity you may need to determine if SCLC is a place you can thrive in.
Stage 3: Reference Checks
After the interview, if we decide we would like to take the next step in bringing you on board, you will be asked to grant us permission to contact your references. We contact each reference to get a better idea of your past experiences. Please let us know the preferred way to get in contact with each reference listed.
Stage 4: Job Offer
If your references check out, we will offer you the position with an Offer Letter and Employee Agreement Letter. Both documents will outline the offered pay rate, as well as go into further detail about the benefits being offered. We will schedule your first onboarding and go over the New Hire checklist to begin your wonderful career here at SCLC!
