We are the village
it takes to raise a child
Since its inception in 2015, StarChild Learning Center has aimed to assist parents like you by raising your child as if they were our own. Every child who walks through our door becomes part of our family. We understand how stressful being an adult is. between work, social life, and now – your family. having to balance everything can leave even the best parent stressed and feeling like there’s too much on their plate.
Here at SLCC, we are here for your child and you. Our team’s number one priority is nurturing an educational, fun, and playful environment for your child. All the while providing you, the parents, with relief and the peace of mind that your son or daughter is in the right environment to develop life-long educational, emotional, and social skills. We believe that no child should be left alone and without emotional support from parents and loved ones. We believe that parents shouldn’t be left to fend for themselves after taking the brave decision to start a family. We believe that all children deserve to grow up in a loving environment AND have happy, successful parents.
There's a whole
lot of learning going on
At SCLC we use a Teaching Strategy called “Creative Curriculum". This strategy is based upon the principle that children learn best when they are actively involved with materials and with others. “Creative Curriculum" is nationally known for its forward-thinking, comprehensive and rigorously researched model which assists in our content rich, developmentally appropriate program that supports active learning and promotes children's progress in all developmental areas. The overall program and curriculum is continuously growing and is implemented throughout the day with an activity schedule that focuses on all building blocks of development.
